Official products shots of the latest collaboration between Nike and Stüssy have now surfaced, giving a clearer picture of the pieces surrounding the “great Baltoro revival”. Supplementing the titular hiking boot are seasonal flavours of the beloved Nike x Stüssy sweats, alongside technical outerwear, highlighter-hued fleeces and accessories.
Nike and Stüssy take the zip-up route with their latest round of boxy, oversized hoodies and matching sweatpants, which are available in black, grey, and a “collaboration-first” shade of deep brown.
The brands build on the usual co-signed assortment with more mid-layer options, including rib-knit pullovers in black and neon green, loose-grid fleece jackets in beige and black, and a mesh zip hoodie featuring a bespoke camo pattern.
The same abstract print is applied to a duo of heavyweight jackets perfect for the winter season, which use a tightly-woven nylon fabric mixed with reinforced panelling and reflective piping to echo the “archival reinvention” motive behind Nike and Stüssy’s latest project.
The rest of the capsule is comprised of Nike x Stüssy skullcaps in black or neon green, alongside nylon track pants with tonal branding and full-length side zips, plus a rare accessory example — materialised in the form of a usable Nike x Stüssy skipping rope.
As confirmed by Dover Street Market, the rollout for the Nike x Stüssy Baltoro boot will be split across brand-exclusive and globally-available drops, with the black leather and “safety orange” suede pairs being made widely accessible, while the “light British tan” and brown suede versions are exclusive to Stüssy.
The Baltoro emerges from hibernation for the first time since 2005 in faithful full leather and suede & mesh makeups — each finished with Nike branding at the tongue and Stüssy’s logo at the heel.
The capsule drops this Friday, October 10 at 10:00 am local time, available via Dover Street Market and Stüssy.
A wider release via Nike SNKRS is expected to follow on Thursday, October 16.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE - 07/10/25:
After a mutual break from delivering some of streetwear’s favourite co-branded sweats and vibrant retro runners, Nike and Stüssy are reconnecting for the Winter 25 season with a new capsule centred around four retro editions of the Baltoro Hiking Boot.
Validating claims from earlier this year that Stüssy’s next Nike collab would centre around a bygone hiking gem from the 90s Swoosh time capsule, the brand has shared campaign visuals for its latest project with Nike, showing all four colourways of the Nike x Stüssy Baltoro in action on the dirt bike trails of Baja, California.
The Baltoro is a formative model introduced by Nike in 1990, just one year after the brand formally launched its esteemed “Nike ACG” line of outdoor-focused products. While it’s unclear whether the Baltoro was officially tied to the All Conditions Gear product range, the silhouette is firmly rooted in outdoor DNA — reappearing here for the first time since 2005 in a faithful makeup that holds to the rugged, suede and leather makeups that Nike collectors go crazy for.
Stüssy’s take on the Baltoro comprises four colourways — three standard and one standout, spanning brown textured suede, black leather, bone, and a striking “Safety Orange” pair that utilises the vibrant colourings across its mesh canvas and suede construction.
Matching the grounded, yet technical appeal of the Baltoro boot, Nike and Stüssy have lined up an expansive offering of apparel, going beyond their fan-favourite, boxy sweat combinations with two new styles of fleece, printed mesh hoodies, knitwear and side zip track pants.
The aforementioned Nike x Stüssy sweatshirts and sweatpants will seemingly release in seasonal shades of deep brown and navy, alongside the core black and light grey iterations we’ve come to expect from Nike and Stüssy’s ongoing linkups.
The collaboration is set to drop this Friday, October 10 via Stüssy’s website and select chapter stores across the globe.
A SNKRS release is scheduled to take place the following week, on Thursday, October 16.
