Action Bronson’s Loud New Balance Takeover isn’t Stopping in 2025

Continuing with his vibrant takeover of homegrown footwear courtesy of New Balance, Action Bronson has revealed the next silhouette to come from his partnership with 2024’s hottest sneaker entity.

One of the most suitable footwear partnerships in recent memory, lifelong New Balance head Action Bronson finally connected with the Bostonian running firm in 2023 to assist with the rollout of New Balance’s 990v6 by dropping two equally colourful iterations that took the mainstream community by storm.

AB x NB works on the 1906r, Minimus Trail and FuelCell Rebel v4 ensued in 2024, again earning sell-out status with each consecutive release.

Returning to the silhouette that started it all, Action Bronson’s latest 990v6 creation presses the theme of using grandiose titles to describe a harmonious mishmash of vibrant hues and while the meaning behind the upcoming “Amazonia” colourway is still under wraps, we can rest assured knowing that the uniquely brash design motive of Dr. Baklava is still very much alive.

The plain sole acts as the only conservative touch in an otherwise positively chaotic colour combination that fuses orange suede with purple tabs and hot pink mesh.

Action Bronson’s “Baklava” moniker is placed above the “flying N” New Balance logo on the tongue, joined by functional rope laces which are included once again as calling cards of the Action Bronson x New Balance partnership.
