Giving its recent release with Maharishi strong competition for “collaboration of the season”, Palace is reconnecting with C.P. Company for week 8 of its Spring 2025 campaign.
Typically reserved for the chillier months when layering reigns supreme, the upcoming release signals Palace’s first springtime collection with Italy’s C.P. Company, who do most of the legwork in their latest instalment by offering up multi-application sportswear examples that sprout shades of stone, indigo and navy over signature fabric blends from Massimo Osti’s firstborn brainchild.
C.P. Company’s outerwear expertise rightfully takes centre stage in its latest collaboration with Palace and is represented by four key styles that speak to the sport, sailing, and workwear reference points that have driven C.P.’s standing in the jacket world for over 50 years.
Starting with the 50 Fili Heavy Jacket, which uses C.P.’s proprietary blend of cotton and nylon coated with polyurethane to shrug off water, Palace simply adds influence in the branding department, stepping aside for C.P.’s military-coded design to speak for itself.
The jackets come in navy or stone, sporting contrasting panels that evidence C.P.’s unique approach to washing and dyeing.
The base 50 Fili fabric features in standalone format on a duo of zip-up overshirts, which again include the stacked “C.P. Palace” badge stitched at the chest.
C.P. throws another textile into the mix with the Plain Paper Touch Bucket Hats and Side Bags before undertaking a utilitarian example of the iconic Goggle Jacket, constructed from a mid-weight 14 oz denim and available to pair with matching trousers.
A choice of two interchangeable hoods come with the jacket - one in shiny nylon with goggles attached, and another built from more of the same pre-washed denim fabric.
Both pieces display the stencil-print “C.P. Palace” branding present throughout the collection.
Akin to the bucket hats and 1/4 zip fleece hoodies, the namesake feature on C.P. x Palace’s Denim Goggle Jacket is printed with special branding on the left and right lenses.
C.P.’s roots as unofficial outfitters of fashionable Italian trawlermen get a shout-out through nautical striped T-shirts and crewneck knits constructed from luxury Sea Island cotton, dropping alongside Flat Nylon Swim Shorts and a special edition of the “C.P. Sailor” graphic that features on four graphic tees.
The latest C.P. Company x Palace Skateboards collaboration drops this Friday, March 28 via Palace’s webstore and physical locations.
