As part of their ongoing Spring Summer 2025 season, Supreme have teamed up with experimental electronic music legend Aphex Twin on a capsule of clothing and accessories set to release this Thursday 6th March.
Renowned for the off-kilter visuals which accompany the experimental soundscapes created by Aphex Twin (AKA Richard James), the collection utilises original album artwork as well as music video imagery by Chris Cunningham from projects including …I Care Because You Do (1995), Donkey Rhubarb (1995) and more.
Aphex Twin's influence on contemporary electronic music cannot be understated, with his debut full-length record - Selected Ambient Works 85-92 - considered a turning point for the genre.
Among the imagery most associated with Aphex Twin in the public consciousness is the busty edit of James' own face over a substantial chest, first introduced in the artwork for single Windowlicker, as well as the monogram logo originally created by graphic artist Paul Nicholson.
These images and more are deployed across a GORE-TEX Hooded Jacket, Alpha Industries Cargo Jacket, full face print wool sweatshirt, Shirt, logo print Thermal top, Football Jersey, Hooded Sweatshirt, Alpha Industries Cargo Pant, Short, two T-Shirts, 6-Panel hat, face print Mechanix® Work Gloves, a logo emblazoned Mantis Coin Knife and four Skateboards – three sold as a set and one sold individually.
Highlights include the reversible GORE-TEX Hooded jacket and Alpha Industries cargo jackets, which feature the infamous logo as well as the sinister face of James printed across the body and sleeves.
The Supreme x Aphex Twin collection will release alongside this week's Supreme drop, in stores and online from Thursday 6th March, available in Asia from Saturday 8th March.
