BAPE and Crocs Work On ABC Camo Clogs in Maiden Collaboration

Given both BAPE and Crocs’ penchant for cross brand synergy, it comes as a surprise that their upcoming collaboration is only the first between the two entities.
A Bathing Ape needs no introduction where streetwear fans are concerned, still maintaining culture relevancy today by sticking with core values of loud prints and a youthful outlook, along with the odd co-signed release that allows the simian-based brand to flex its collaborative muscles.
Much to the joy of BAPE collectors, the brand now has a new vehicle outside of Vans Old Skools, adidas Stan Smiths or the in-house BAPESTA range to decorate with its beloved camo pattern, which will feature on Crocs’ most iconic footwear style in the brands’ debut meeting later this month.
Dropping in pink, blue and green ABC camo, BAPE’s tweaked Crocs Clogs feature “R” (registered trademark) symbols on special metal rivets, which connects the forefoot to the heel strap sections, with signatures from each brand applied to the rear.
The collaborative clogs can be customised with special BAPE jibbitz, with a total of five charms included with each pair.
The debut Crocs x BAPE collaboration will first be available via BAPE online and physical stores beginning Saturday, March 8.
A wider release via Crocs.com will follow on March 12.
