Tallying up its Holliday ‘24 inventory, Palace Skateboards announces various high profile pieces to release this week, leaning into the whimsical edge that earned the brand its cult status, amongst techy winter staples and more (yes, more) irreverent headgear.
Considering Palace already dropped its own showstopping shell jacket at the start of December, it comes as no surprise that this week’s GORE-TEX laden piece focuses more on the insulation side of weatherproof wear, lining up a trio of Windstopper jackets in green, white or black that feature exposed taping at the seams, stowable hoods and pockets aplenty.
The preview standout Polartec rugby shirt is also set to drop this week in the initially teased colourblocked version, alongside plain black, blue and grey iterations that all feature contrasting white collars and a Palace/ Polartec badge at the chest.
Palace’s range of horse-graphic sweats, tees and caps play to what some argue is the brand’s strongest qualities, in which a kitschy depiction of a wild steed is printed alongside “Palace Outdoors” wording and the brand’s website URL (as if we’d ever forget).
The 6-panel caps include the seasonal “Palaska” branding variant also featured on the Mountaineering fleece that looks to reveal the full picture teased on the forthcoming “Palaska” Fleece Appliqué Hoodie.
Aside from a fresh lineup of Tri-Ferg tees done in an industrial ‘anti-slip’ graphic style, Palace reloads on furry headgear with the Teddy Beanie in either full black, cow or fox faux fur, where the brand’s penchant for subverting the classics comes to light on the Bones Cowichan cardigan.
Shop Palace’s latest Holiday ‘24 release this Friday, December 20th via the brand’s webstore and physical locations at 11:00 am GMT.
A release in Asia follows on Saturday, December 21st.
